Anyone know when it's safe to use these in a baby's cot..? DD is 11 months and constantly bangs her head on the top of the cot when she is asleep (works her way up into the corner)
I want to try and pad it with the cot bumper but not sure what age it can be used from (due to suffocating etc)..I had heard it was 12 months..am I right.???

just bear in mind that they can use a cot bumper to climb out with! using it as a step up and then over the bars!!

i know my 10 month old would! she might end up in the travel cot like her sister if she keeps banging her head on the bars! we chose one (travel cot) which will take a proper mattress so this worked for DD1

cot bumpers are suitable from BIRTH up until your lo can get up on their hands and knees as they can then use them to try and escape. Pillows, quilts, duvets, etc are from 12 months
