Can anyone recommnend a baby monitor that will work successfully in large hotels? I know lots claim to work for up to 300 metres.. but is this really true? Do all the walls eg. hotel rooms interfere somehow with the signal?
Thanks, got to go shopping this week!

I don't know about distance but we tried three different types befoe we foung the BT ones have the clearest reception with no interferance.

I would recommend buying htem from mothercare or boots and try them at home those two shops returned ours with no questions asked.

Thanks Dyzzidi, only problem is I´m not in UK so no access to the BT model. Which ones were you not impressed with? That´s a good start for me!

Not to sure distance wise but we have the angel care monitor which also monitors baby breathing. It does still keep a good reception when at the bottom of the garden..?? We don't get any interference from it.
Not to sure though if I would trust a monitor in a hotel as surely there is loads it can interfere with..imho though.

If you are in a hotel do they not offer a "baby listening" service.? Some will listen out for baby and shout you if there are any problems.
