Ok the time has come to place an order with Lakeland limited! I am however faced with a dilemma - whether to buy the expensive with bells on, or the cheap but does the job version

Here is my first dilemma!!!

Would you buy this for £17.95

or this for £5.95

The grate and store is £6.75?

I'd buy the latter, I think. Actually, I wouldn't, I'd get the two pack for a couple of quid from Ikea!

(Mmmm, Lakeland...! Mmmm, Ikea...! )

\Is £14.95 justified for one of these????}
Bear in mind my kitchen work surface is tiny and I do a lot of baking!! I have been known to put cakes in the bedroom to cool just to keep them out of ds way!

Well having been through more cheese graters than I care to think about, the expensive on, coz it will last, and if u keep the receipt they will exxhange it if it breaks.

I have learnt the hard way, a cheese grater breaking every couple of month, but I am left handed which doesn't help Grin

MrsSpoon · 08/04/2006 21:35

Hmmm, I would buy the first one as we have something similar for grating parmesan and it is very good.

MrsSpoon · 08/04/2006 21:37

The cooling rack, yes because you'll need to buy one or two other things to qualify for free postage. Wink

Oh hunker you are right the grate n store thingy has gone up!! My catalogue is really old!

busybusybee · 08/04/2006 21:44

Are zyliss products as wonderful as lakeland say they are then? Do they really last years and years

BTW I have already managed to resist a zyliss mandoline - Dh laughed hysterically at the price for one of those...........

I've got an older version of the grate n store with a rectangular collecting box, must have had for more than 6 years, this has to be the most used Lakeland item in my kitchen!

NannyL · 09/04/2006 00:23
