Racing car game for 3 yr old DD

We took our DD to meet Father Xmas at the village fete last night and discovered she has her heart set on a 'racing car game' for Xmas, first we'd heard of it! Still v excited about it this morning.
Could anyone recommend something? (Amazon, toys r us etc has lots of negative reviews). She's good with fiddley toys, so thinking something more advanced than 'push along' type cars. Thanks!

Have you thought about a remote controlled car? Would she have the co-ordination to play with one of those?

My first Scalextrix :) we were given one when they were 2. They've now gone up onto our full size set up and have their own cars so watch where it will lead to ;-)
