It's actually quite good. Scary to apply as I usually end up looking "black"..!! DH helps me and I must admit the ends result is reather quite good.! It somehow evens itself out iykwim.

I apply it with a sponge to even it out. The one I used had glitter bits in it, thing is when I wash it off (like you do to rid of the top layer) the next day the glitter goes..!!

Recommend it though. HTH

I usually scrub myself and then moisturise myself a little...watch areas such as knees, elbows,hands..all prone to "holding onto" the tan so you run the risk of patches. I usually moisurise these areas well and use a little tan on them, with hands spray tan onto the back of one hand and rub in with the other hand iykwim, don't use so much tan on your hands either.

Don't worry...........afterwards you will look v v v odd and a strange colour (prob used to it after being in the airport tan booth) BUT somehow it will correct itself.!

One last thing....either sleep standing or get some old sheets etc. Also if you are sharing the bed with someone make them aware! DH always thinks he's in an old peoples home when he wakes!

Good luck!!

make sure you use some latex gloves, boots sell them in first aid dept. Apply it one your face with a cosmetic sponge, and get someone else to do your back.
Just make sure you rub it in well

Well remembered mc, If not latex gloves, marigolds do a similar job...

Don't like it at all very Judith Chalmers!Although once I had a bath it toned down so I do look healthier just not too keen on the colour.Much prefer the one in the salon or l'oreal sublime for diy much less dirty looking!

I agree, once on it is very strong until you wash it off. Then I find it is usually a nice colour. Not that strong for me and usually a nice sunkissed look. Suppose it all depends on your skin colour to start with. According to my beauty therapist, they change to a colour depending on your skin tone/pigment.

At least you have tried it.
