Free SIM cards (UK only)

is there a catch to any of these? Do you have to be with them already, sorry might be a stupid question but I am clueless when it comes to mobiles.

Not as far as I know - if you go to the links on that page it tells you the terms and conditions of each one. Most of the networks give away SIM cards from time to time - we've had O2 ones posted here before, but I thought this site would be useful for anyone who wanted to see what the current offers are
