We are due to have our second baby at the end of March... I had been looking into buying a bassinette that you can hang within your cot from blooming marvellous which seemed ideal as it would gently rock with baby's movements. Now I have seen a baby hammock which is just that, a small hammock you can hang also within your cot which according to the people selling it is okay for the baby's spine.
Does anybody have any experience of this? It seems like a bit of a mushy position for a baby who will always be sleeping curved but I know that in India for example, babies routinely sleep in hammocks.
Any advice or experience?
