Can you recommend or anti-recommend any breakdown cover providers?
I'd be wanting National cover and Homestart cover, various comparison sites give me a confusing array of options varying from ~£40/year to ~£90/year - as far as I can see the differences can be attributed to a variety of weaselly exclusions and clever phrasings to ensure they can wiggle out of helping you for the cheapest ones and a variety of unnecessarily elaborate cover options for unlikely circumstances for the more expensive ones. I feel I want one that pitches somewhere in the middle.
I'd like to know if you have any experience of breakdown cover providers unreasonably wriggling out of helping you, or conversely any experience of really good service that you think was worth the extra?
