Bought it from ebay and it has no instructions - it looks straightforward enough but I just wanted to check - the person I bought it from has put in a little cup and said to fill it to the line with water - does the water just pour onto the metal base where the bottle sits?

When do you need to start using it?

About a week or so...

Well I have one in the loft and possibly have the instructions in the box. I'll happily send you a copy, but we're off on holiday for a week in the morning.

I've just checked with dh that I was remembering correctly - yes, you just put the water in the little container in the metal bit, put the bottle in, press the button and off it goes. I used to creep back to bed for a few more snatched minutes sleep before it went click!

Would you like me to sort out the instructions for you?

zephyrcat · 31/03/2006 22:35

Thanks :) Only if it's not a hassle though - don't go out of your way... I used to have the lindam steriliser and the metal bit looks the same so I just figured that if i pour water on there it's just going to steam and burn dry so wasn't sure if there is a bit missing maybe? There is the little basket bit that the bottle sits in which goes onto the metal/water - is that all there is to it?

Sorry if that doesn't make sense!!!

Hmmm, yes - I think so! It was nearly 3 years ago when I used it. It will be no trouble for me at all (I will send dh!). No really, I don't mind, if you CAT me your address I'll sort it when we get back.

Mine actually didn't get much use as dd started going through the night from 5 weeks. Hope that's a good omen for you!

Here's hoping!!!

My email is [email protected] - I haven't signed up to cat yet...just give me a shout when you get back - have a brill holiday!! Grin

Is this worth all the hassle? Looked at these.

I was trying to work out if it would take too long and wind DGD up so much that not only would DGS be awake but so would all the neighbours. (She doesnt like waiting in the night!!). We usually trot downstairs and have a quick 30 sec in the microwave (naughty I know, but we shake it well and test it thoroughly- I know we are not the only ones).
