Decorating Toddlers Bedroom

We've just moved to a brand new house and I'd like to decorate DS bedroom - his duvet and curtains are all cars and trucks so I want to break up 2 colours on the walls with a "road" border, that I can add cars and trucks to - any ideas about a pre-made wallpaper border of this type or will I have to bite the bullet and attempt to paint!

have an attempt at painting. its great fun.

what i'm thinking is u'll need loads of masking tape. mask of the area u want to paint the road on. then paint on a dark grey for the main road. then when thats dry, mask off the middle a thin stripe, and downwards strips at a regular interval to make the white line.

i'd offer to come round and paint it for u but i have a feeling u'd be nowhere near me. lol.

Thanks for these suggestions - I've a feeling I'm going to have to whip out a paintbrush - if you're anywhere near Glossop Misdee, you can be artistic director!
Thanks.
