Suzuki SX4 crossover anyone?

Need to replace my elderly Scenic and rather like the look of this. I really like the idea of a crossover and this is about the only one I can afford.

Anyone got one, or have an opinion on Suzuki in general?

Otherwise I guess it will be another Scenic/C4 Picasso/C-Max/similar.

Is it just the shape you like, or are you particularly after a 4WD version?

Interesting (maybe) fact: an SX4 was the first car to complete the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb in less than 10 minutes.

Just the shape! Absolutely no need for 4WD here in west London

I don't want anything too huge or too heavy and expensive to run, but I do like the high driving position and cabin shape. Not particularly hilly around here either!

Have you thought about the Kia Sportage or Hyundai ix35? Both offer five-star safety, versus the Suzuki's four stars.

If you don't need to off-road and want something ecoonomical to run, you may be better off getting a good people carrier instead of a less than perfect 4x4. Are you buying a new car?
