mumatuks · 28/03/2006 20:33

its pretty much what everyone else has said, but my brother recommended the Thompson video sender. \link{http://electronics.listings.ebay.co.uk/DVD-Home-Cinema_Wireless-Video-Transmitters_W0QQsacatZ109016QQsocmdZListingItemList\loads here}

So will the video sender definately work with sky+. I love the idea of being able to watch sky on another TV but can't afford to fork out another £10 per month on another box.

you can send the signal to another room we did this to bedroom - but you can only watch the same channel as what is sky box in connected up to - we ended up paying for an extra box so dh can go upstairs and watch footie whilst i watch the soaps down stairs.

\link{http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5344273.htm\we had these one and they worked fine}

desperateSCOUSEwife · 29/03/2006 15:39

dh did it with coax cable
wires are hidden and it was only a small hole throught the plasterboard

Milliways · 29/03/2006 15:45

We have our SKY box wired through the video player, which is wired so nwe can watch whatever is on the video channel (or video being played) in any room.

We then use one of \link{http://www.reallycleverhomes.co.uk/acatalog/Marmitek_PowerMid_XL_infrared_transmitter.html\these}
to change the channel on sky/ fast forward etc the video, from the bedroom upstairs (but could be in any room)

cleverhomes · 30/03/2006 12:56

The \link{http://reallycleverhomes.co.uk/acatalog/Marmitek_GigaVideo_45_set.html\Gigavideo45} wireless audio-video sender will work fine if the TV you are wanting to connect to has Scart or phono sockets on it.

If it hasn't the \link{http://reallycleverhomes.co.uk/acatalog/Marmitek_GigaVideo_70_set.html\Gigavideo70} will do what you want and will connect via the aerial socket on the back of the TV.
