buggy boards for M'care Urban Detour?

Hi
has anyone managed to fix a buggy board to an Urban Detour buggy? DH tells me that the side struts mean DS1 would need to be standing about 3ft from the buggy to avoid bashing his head on the handle! and a kiddyboard looks like it would get in the way of the brake!
Has someone out there solved this one?
thanks!!!!

You can physically fit one on but there's nowhere for the kid's head to go 'cause there's no room betweeen the hood and handle and my handlebar doesn't move out of the way (so I'm afraid your DH is right!). I bought an UD to do this and now I'm going to have to get my toddler walking a lot more or use my old hand-me-down puschair with hand-me-down seat-2-go! I think some older models of UD's had height adjustable handles that would let you use them though.

Hi, just seen this thread. I have an UD and a buggy board attached. we moved the hood down slightly. My DP did it by putting some new holes inthe side.
Let me know if you want more exact details and I'll get a better explanation from him!! But it is workable and you wouldn't know any different.

That's great news - we were looking at the weekend and thought we might be able to do something with the hood to make more space. I'm guessing the strut that's there is holding the buggy together or we could take it off completely. Will ask DH if he needs your DH's plans!

Thanks
