Help needed - frozen kindle screen

I was about to purchase some books yesterday when the screen froze. Over 24 hours later and its still the same. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Have you done a total reboot? You hold the slider switch for 20 seconds and that usually sorts it.

I was just about to say try to reboot. Kindle help is good for info on how to deal with a frozen screen and if it can't be fixed and is within warranty Amazon have been fab at replacing

It's the power button. Hold it in until the screen goes white, give it 30 secs or so then press and release it. You should then see the Kindle logo and if all is well the screen should be ok
