good present for a 6y old girl

I am trying to think of something to get my 6y old niece when she comes to visit in a couple of weeks. I only have boys and I'm not sure what she would really like. Any suggestions what your 6-y old dds would really love?

Think PollyPocket is the ticket here. No nothing about her but my niece loves all her stuff. Otherwise I'd say a jewellery box (how I loved mine when I was a girl) or a small bag (the fluffy ones from Jellycat are brilliant).

Sorry for obvious enthusiasm but like you I spend my life playing with trains, cars and animals.

Yes I loved my jewellery box too. I will have a look and see what there is. I have never heard of Polly Pocket

My DD is 6 and she likes polly pocket. She also loves anything girly to do with fixing up her hair, making necklaces with beads, that sort of thing.
However she does like doing boys things too, and your niece may rather join in with your boys rather than be left out.

Hama beads are good because both boys and girls can do those

My 6yr old dd loves anything she can make crafty projects or nice glitter pens ect also loves play makeup and nail varnish boots do a good range.
