What compact MPV to replace my Scenic?

My X-reg Scenic seems to be spending more and more time in the garage these days so thoughts are turning to replacing it.

I have 12 and 10-year-old DC so car seats aren't an issue and we do very low milage, it's mainly used locally.

What I really need is a small car to do the shopping etc. that I could temporarily extend for the 3 occasions a year the whole family plus luggage are in the car! Wink

With a budget of about £8,000 what would you recommend?

I like the Mazda 5. It's basically the same car as the new Ford Grand C-Max. It will probably be better for reliability than your Scenic.
