Doing internet shopping for the first time ever - and no lie - it's taking me 35 minutes to come up with
lettuce spring onions tomatoes
chickpeas
bread
milk
eggs
bacon
butter
mince
pesto
cereal

I'm got food list writers block - somebody help me out (before ds wakes up) - thinking about what we eat isn't helping either - what an idiot.

Don't worry, teh first time I did it took about one and a half hours! Youe need to do it in 'sections', ie, fruit, then veg, then fish, then meat, then dairy etc.

Don't forget things like toilet roll, nappies, soap etc

zippitippitoes · 24/03/2006 14:15

if you do leave stuf off you can make changes until about 9.00pm the night before delivery

MeggLeVache · 24/03/2006 14:34

TTTTTTThanks so much - have just done it. Took me forever.
I'm sure I've gone wrong though £100!!!!
I thought this was meant to save me money and time!

the other thing i do is check out all the offers, which for some reason takes ages as they are not listed all together, so that definitely saves money as i buy stuff on bogof in bulk which I wouldn't have done so much going round the store and i always use discount codes which cover the delivery and sometimes more

MeggLeVache · 24/03/2006 14:47

Thanks Zippi, where do I find the discount codes then. And it's a very ggod point about the offers.
Like you say the first time seems to take forever and I've tried not to be sucked in too much. Will still make the weekly trip to the local grocers etc.

zippitippitoes · 24/03/2006 14:56

it depends which store you use, tesco is easier to find the codes than ocado

zippitippitoes · 24/03/2006 14:58

\link{http://tescovouchercodes.blogspot.com/\ tesco}

MeggLeVache · 24/03/2006 14:59

Tesco today but I'm not loyal at all I am a grocery slut. May tru Ocado next time.
