Bicycle recommendations for a four-year-old, please

DD wants a bike for her 4th birthday but not sure what sort to get her - flimsy, pink, impractical one that she'd love on first sight but wouldn't last or groovy mountain bike-type one...

Any recommendations? For the latter, really, I suppose...

we have a PUKY for ds (he's 4) - v. chunky and stable. has a low barbie factor though

thanks, Bossykate - we have moved to the pretend country (just t'other side of M25) and dd at little village school. It's great. Glad I still work in London else think I'd freak out though! how's things with EP?

glad you are enjoying your new life we are still happy with ep. miss w. is dd's key worker - what's not to like i'm doing more pick-ups recently, which is always good so you can keep an eye on things!
