DD wants a bike for her 4th birthday but not sure what sort to get her - flimsy, pink, impractical one that she'd love on first sight but wouldn't last or groovy mountain bike-type one...

Any recommendations? For the latter, really, I suppose...

hi dinny

how are you? i'm sorry i haven't kept up with your news - have you moved yet?

if you are still in the area you might consider \link{http://www.brixtoncycles.co.uk/kids_bikes.html\Brixton Cycles} but if not the page i linked has some possible useful info anyway.

we have a PUKY for ds (he's 4) - v. chunky and stable. has a low barbie factor though Wink

hth.

doesn't your dh/p work in clapham? if he could get over there i'm sure they would be able to give the advice you need.

thanks, Bossykate - we have moved to the pretend country (just t'other side of M25) and dd at little village school. It's great. Glad I still work in London else think I'd freak out though! how's things with EP?
