I am looking to buy a baby swing - the type that plays music and is used indoors - to soothe my 4 month old who has reflux and is generally quite colicky. Whcih ones ghave MNers used and cna recommend or would avoid again as they are quite a financiall investment.

thanks

I have the fisher price one which i thought was lovely, only my dd hated it.
Any chance you can try one out and see if your baby would take to it first?

Not sure if it's exaclty what you're after, but I bought a Mamas and Papas bouncy chair with three different vibrations and sounds and it was fabulous.

do try one out first. we thought it would do the trick for colicky DD so DH spent £50 (the mad man) and she HATED it.

Ds had the Fisher Price aquarium take along swing and absolutely loved it,but I know of another baby that hated it.Definately try one out first,as they're alot of money if your baby doesn't like itSmile.

definately try one first. We had the BabyDan one, which was lovely. She loved it for about 2 days, then hated it - too restrictive.

we have the fisher price aquarium swing and my ds loved it ... it got him to sleep for hours every day when he was little!

we had the graco one from mothercare and DD loved it. It was the only way with a colichy DD that I could free my arms for a bit.

I would second/third the fisher price aquarium swing. We got it for ds and he loved it (both dd (now 4) and ds(now 1) were colicky and with dd we had to eat our evening meal in shifts (dh and I ) whilst the other paced the floor, where as with ds we popped him in there and had the chance to eat a meal without resulting in indigestion.
