Hi

I'm thinking of buying a 3-seater and 2-seater in either brown leather or a neutral coloured fabric. Can anywhere recommend somewhere nice that's not too expensive please?

My Mum's been obsessing about the settees in Next - she's after a leather one aswell - and would have bought them only they're too big - and she's very fussy so they must be nice! Probably on the expensive side though??

We'd love a new settee but we're waiting until ds2 is slightly less messy (about another 15 years to go?!)

DFS seem to have nice ones and good deals too.

Am waiting til mine are older too as the £20 secondhand sofa we have in the playroom has been wrecked with feltips Angry and I refuse to let them destroy a brand new one!

My brother almost spend 5 grand on 2 for his lounge for JL- his ds was still quite young and I suggested it was a nutty idea. I showed him an almost identical design on the DFS website which he ended up buying for about 2k instead. He's chuffed as his 2 children now regularly use them as climbing frames and as canvases for their pens etc and the quality was pretty good too.

we got ours mail order from one of the companies at the bakc of Sunday supplements. Viva or something like that. We were pleased with it when it arrived. 4 tyears later it is beginning to get a bit saggy and tatty. Thinking of replacing it in next year or so...

We got ours from \link{http://www.sofaworkshopdirect.co.uk/index.php\sofaworkshop}, but they are part of MFI so I don't know what's going to happen to them with MFI revmaping itself and all that. But they are very comfortable, and they delivered actually quite a bit earlier than they said they would be able to, and my parents bought from them a while back and theirs are still going strong. They've more choice in store than online. HTH.

We bought ours from Sofa Workshop but had horrendous problems with delivery. Originally due first week in August got it a week before Christmas, after numerous phonecalls & delays. Still they are lovely & everyone comments on how expensive they look. I found a company online who do some of the same products cheaper tho'. Ixia Interiors, we've got a 1, 2 & 3 seater from SW that are identical to their Siena range. We paid about £2K in the sale although I've found the MFI sales go on & on & get even better as time goes by. Our stuff was about £200 cheaper a week after we'd ordered when we discovered they had a concession in MFI.
