They are the choice but I am interested if anyone has any experience of either make?
We're either going for the \link{http://www.franco-belge.co.uk/pages/fbmultifuel.html\Franco Belge Montfort} or the \link{http://www.firesonline.com/acatalog/Villager_Chelsea_High_Canopy_Stove.html\Villager Chelsea}(without the canopy). Dh prefers the Villager (and it's cheaper) but I'm not sure of their reputation.

Oh no I was going to say CLEARVIEW cos they are so fab

I have franco Belge Savoy and it is burning merrily before me

It heats most of our hot water and I love it

Sorry, no experience of either, but we were going to get a Villager but someone recommended a Tiger stove. Just looking at it now and it is very similar looking to the Franco Belge Montfort (though was bit cheaper). It has been fantastic so far, have been really pleased with it.
