Did anyone use clinique 3-step during pregnancy? If yes, which combination did you use and did you have to change while you were pregnant?

Yes I used it. My skin is type 2 and I used the liquid soap, toner and moisteriser. I also used repairwear at night. No one said anythimg at all about not using this.

yes, whyever not?

I use type 3 (was told ages ago I had to upgrade from type 2 cos I'd been using it too long - wtf??) and it was ok during pg although my skin did get a bit drier and generally better (is a bit oily normally).

Just was reading some messages on the pregnancy section which said don't use anything with this and that in it and it freaked me out a bit. Also my skin has gone very dry since getting pregnant. Clinique has quite a lot of ingredients in all the stuff and wondered if some of them were not safe in pregnancy and if a more natural range would be better?

i used to work for clinique and all theire products are fine when PG. The only thing i will say is the clarifying lotion is an exfoliant and also contains a small amount of alcohol to preserve it, which can be drying. Also the dramatically dif. moisturiser isn't that rich either. Have you tried other products? i personally would not use that on my skin again, now i've tried other things. I think it's brilliant for a young skin but as you get older personally i don't think the 3 step alone is moisturising enough

worryinone · 23/03/2006 18:47

What would you recommend that is safe in pregnancy?
