Just wondering if anyone has got the learning lizard from ELC

Here is what elc says about it:

Teach your child the alphabet with this soft fabric lizard that folds up for easy storage. Suction cups on both feet allow Letter Lizard to be displayed upright. Alphabet pockets hold the 26 a to z fabric shapes. Young children will have great fun finding the correct pocket for each shape, whilst learning the alphabet.
Age Range: 1 - 6 years

Just wondered if anyone has any opinions on it as I'm thinking of getting dd2 it for her birthday.

We haven't got that exact one, but we have a very similar thing (a crocodile) that someone bought my dd. I actually find it really irritating because the letters don't fit the pockets very well (can you check on the ELC one?). Neither dd nor ds2 (who has it now) have seemed very interested in looking at the letters or trying to get them in the right pockets. It only seems to come out so that they can scatter the letters around, which means I spend far more time with it than anyone else putting the sodding letters back in! One difference though, is that ours doesn't have suction cups, so this one might be more practical than ours!
