I keep looking at them, and I can't make up my mind!

I;ve got a basic ring sling at the moment, and I like it, but it tends to dig into my shoulder, and I'm not sur ehow long I'll be able to use it as DS gets heavier....

Help me - do you love yours/hate it...do I want one???

Oh i love the look of them!
Am tempted myself for the next one!

I got one from a fellow MNer when DD was a couple of months old. It's the one and only sling I've been able to use without ending up in pain, and without feeling like I have a baby swinging around my crotch. DD is 2.4 now, and weighs around 16kg and I could still carry her in it comfortably (if she didn't wriggle sround and demand to get down Grin ) It's nice to carry her around in if she's asleep and it's too much of a pita to get the buggy out.

Ought to add though that I couldn't get the hang of it when she was really little, I started using a lot when she was about 5 months I think.

toastmuncher · 17/03/2006 10:55

I LIKE BLACK, NAVY AND RASBERRY AND THE RED AND BEIGE[SMILE]

Flamesparrow · 17/03/2006 11:14

I quite like the plain black... as much as I like all the other pretty colours, it looks much calmer (although would show up any sick instantly!!!). My sling is blue and purple tie dye and not exactly the most relaxing thing!

OK. mine does not look like that! I'm going to have to check now, as I'm very confused...

serenity · 17/03/2006 12:07

Alright please ignore all my posts as mines actually a Huggababy (ruddy names..too confusing..going away now)

Flamesparrow · 17/03/2006 15:04

Oh poo - it was your posts I was paying attention to since you're the only one of us who thought they had one! Grin

Oh well... I won the auction, so if it does turn out to be shoddy, I'll glare lots at you Wink, then just relist it!

Blush it does look good though!

Flamesparrow · 17/03/2006 15:11

Grin I have been looking at it for a couple of months now, so probably would have given in eventually anyway! Got it for £30 instead of the £49 most places sell it for - navy and jade (I think), so still a decent deal, and calmer colours.

Oh I want I want! We have a hugababy... and DD kicks me in what would be my gonads all day and slumps to one side and it's beginning to get annoying, but she loves it...

my shoulder is dead.

fastasleep · 17/03/2006 15:15

Doy ou reckon I could have two? One with DS in and one with DD? Grin....

Flamesparrow · 17/03/2006 17:34

sure - strap one to the front, one to the back, and end up with incredible muscles Grin
