Does anyone know where to get this in the UK? I can only find it on US sites and my niece is desperate for it. Need it by 7th April.

TIA

it's on ebay, but what is it?

GDG · 16/03/2006 11:14

It's stuff that you model with - it looks like multicoloured frog spawn! It's advertised on Nick Jnr I think but I'm looking on line and can't find it. WIll check out ebay - thanks.

There was a thread about this stuff before - can't remember where people had got it from but the general opinion was that it stinks, it doesn't work, and it's crap.

lucy5 · 16/03/2006 11:15

It's advertised a lot on nickjr with a UK telephone number.

GDG · 16/03/2006 11:21

LOL WWB!! It wouldn't be my choice either but my SIL is like that - if her dd sees something, she has to have it no matter how crap it is!

GDG · 16/03/2006 11:36

Thanks for that WWB - how did you find it?!

Have ordered it - searched archives and lots of people say it's awful, but hey, it's not my problem is it?! Grin

Well, as it's your sister's house that will stink, and your sister who will have to clear up the mess, and your sister who will have to cope with the resulting tantrum when the stuff turns out to be crap ... not your problem Wink

I just googled for a UK supplier, I have time on my hands this morning, and googling is better than throttling my dh ...

They sell the recipe to make it yourself on ebay too. Apparently it is just slime with polystyrene balls in

WigWamBam · 16/03/2006 11:56

The diy recipe might just be slime with polystyrene balls in, but floam isn't ... it's "the world's lightest non-gas fluid. As a fill material in a loose-skinned bladder-type cushions, Floam equalizes pressure to relieve discomfort and prevent pressure sores. It is very stable and stays close to body temperature regardless of changes in the environment".

See what too much googling does for you? Turns you into a geek.
