You could try BabyBanz - they should have a website or you can get them thru' the Blooming Marvellous site or the jojomanbebe site. I got these and another type for my 2 and the babybanz ones were quite expensive I think but are supposed to stay on. To be honest my 2 wouldn't keep either style on and I ended up giving them away.

babybanz are brilliant - bought them for dd - she has worn them a little ... although as she has Down's syndrome and they annoyed her at first. Will see how they go next summer. Hers will do her for a few years and they stay on - she is especially fussy about what goes on her head and face and they stayed on.

Just do a search for babybanz - some optometrists carry them

I found Babybanz a bit on the small side. I bought the 0-2 years size for ds when we went skiing earlier this year. He was 16 months at the time (and not big for his age) and they were too small. Ended up cutting the neoprene band and stitching velcro on instead. You may want to wait until you reach your destination. I found that shops in the resort had a far better selection of children's sunglasses than anywhere in the UK. Also found that ds preferred sunglasses like the rest of us anyway ie. with arms that rest on your ears rather than a headband.

I just bought the smallest glasses in ordinary shops, too. They certainly fit well by 15 months, so maybe it depends partly on the size of your child's crown & head (my kids are pint-sized, anyway ....!).

Think that they have some on an internet site called young explorer. Sorry not to give you a link.

I bought some in GAP Kids

Buy them there - you can get Polaroids for tots in many department stores and sports shops. ds' first pair came from Gap. Unlikely to be particularly sunny at this time of year even in the mountains.

the larger boots mostly have them

dd didn't get along with Babybanz at all and ended up with nasty scratch down the side of her face where she pulled them down off her nose.

She refused to keep any on but then she was under a year at the time.

Thanks for all the help. i think from this i'll just wait until i get there.

Thanks and merry christmas!
