Want to get ds some nice bedroom furniture. pils want to buy him a bed and wardrobe so we'd get the rest. He's nearly 2 so we want it to do him for a number of years... His current wardrobe (a £20 from ikea jobbie) just about matches his cot, so new baby gets to inherit that Grin

His bedroom theme is currently 'knights dragons castles' etc got a lovely rug, duvet cover etc from vertbaudet, then found toy storage and other bits in ikea. However, couldn't ever find curtains and can't find a single bed duvet (main colours are yellow and green)

We'd love to stick to the theme but are struggling, found a brilliant castle bed set in mothercare bedroom catalogue, but it's just a bunk bed type thing plus a cover for underneath (hidey hole type thing) even the bedding doesn't match that lol

We also can't seem to find any furniture we like. He can't have that set cos he's only two, and it says 5 and up, argos don't have anything (we don't want metal, or anything too tacky coloured, but would still like it to be quite nice) and the only wardrobes etc dh can find are in the mothercare catalogue too.. but it's £350 for a small wardrobe (!)

I know it sounds kinda obvious, but have you tried ebay? We moved last year to a bigger house and it felt like we'd bought a purse with all our money (ie. not having any money to put in the purse!) we couldn't afford any furniture.... but over the past couple of months, have found some really good stuff there - you've just got to be pretty specific in the search options! Also, Aspace do fab stuff, a bit pricey but often have a sale on their website. Wigwam is another very similar one... good luck!
