Maybe you need to go and buy one big storage basket to store them in Grin

Twiglett · 13/03/2006 13:41

haven't watched anthea .. care to fillme in on why you need 50 baskets?

puff · 13/03/2006 13:42

Lucycat · 13/03/2006 13:42

What were you planning to put in them all?

puff · 13/03/2006 13:44

well twig.............

she loves a storage basket, does Anthea

Everything in cupboards is supposed to be arranged in them

I have opened my cupboards a few times and then shut them quickly

I will do it

Just haven't got round to it yet............

LOl puff -I recognise that "open and then shut very quickly" reflex. Sounds like our bathroom cupboard - but lifes to short to fold towels! Smile

puff · 13/03/2006 13:47

ok............

18 will go in the cupboards in the utility room

1 for shoe polishes, brushes etc
1 for spare lightbulbs (we use loads, lights keep blowing)
1 for j cloths, sponges etc
1 for zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I'm falling asleep myself here Grin

Ha ha ha.

You've turned into a loony.

50? Do you have a link to them? How much did they cost?

puff · 13/03/2006 13:52

lol caligula

Aldi were doing 4 for £2, so I bought 20 of those for a tenner. Then B&Q have some bigger ones for 99p each so I bought 30 of those.

They are not v pretty - red plastic, but will be hidden in cupboards and they are the right size

Anthea Turner does a show entitled "Perfect Housewife" on BBC3 - it is v dull, but just one showing reminded me to get off my arse and sort out my cupboards

Does she honestly think she can convince the nation that she wanders around her home with a bag of cotton wool balls and a bottle of Asda's own white vinegar banishing limescale?

Off her nut she is.

Nbg · 13/03/2006 16:04

Watch it puff.

It starts out with storage baskets

next you'll be sticking diamantes on flowers to put on plates and snail shells on your guests towels!

Kelly1978 · 13/03/2006 16:07

I have baskets! Grin

Not in cupbards tho. We have baskets int he store room for the veg and stuff, on a butchers table. We have glass jars in the cupboards. dP is a bit like anthea by the sounds of it. He hates seeing messy cupboards so there are jars for everything. I've got about 20 jars full of dried ingredients, flour etc. 50 full of spices. and big plastic containers for stuff that won't fit in the jars. Anal or what? Grin

notasheep · 13/03/2006 16:58

And one needs a basket to put the basket in!

puff · 13/03/2006 17:21

snail shells on the towels - how does that work then? Are they sewn on?

OP posts:
JackieNo · 13/03/2006 17:23

Artfully placed on the beautifully folded pile, I thinkGrin. It may actually have been a seashell, rather than a snail shell...

puff · 13/03/2006 17:25

hmmmm - I do have a tub of shells somewhere..................

rummum · 13/03/2006 17:27
