Help! Ideas needed for new car.

I will be trading in my ancient, sensible Volvo soon and would like to replace it with something a little more sexy. I can't really go for a 2-seater, alas, but need help finding something sporty/ stylish/ fun/. I used to have coupes before DD but can't seem to find one I like. I've tried the Mazda RX8 but didn't like the gear change. Any ideas please?

Have you looked at the Volvo V60 in black metallic with black tinted windows. Sexy but with all the reliability and safety of a Volvo. It won the safety award last year if such things are still important to you.

Alfa Romeo Guilietta that's what I would have if DH didn't insist on us owning sporty Audi's. Beautiful car but it is an Alfa therefore will break down every 100 miles or so!!

Great!! Thanks. Already considered Audi TT but not others as yet. Northern - have already had an Alpha (GTV) which conked out mid-motorway and had to have a new engine imported from Italy! Love them, but perhaps a bit high.maintenance for me now. Brilliant stylyng, though...

I think Alpha Romeos are pricy to look after. I would stick with German or Jap cars. Audis are fab.
