Anyone with 3+ kids drive a sexy car ?

I fancy something like an audi convertible , but i have 3 kids, aged 5, 3 and 2. Just trying to take some of the pain out of the dreaded school run. I need a small nippy car, but fed up of the usual Mum cars.

Any suggestions or advice?

Small and nippy and 3 kids don't seem to go together especially when they start doing sports or one may take up the double bass!! DH parents just bought a Peugeot 308cc as it?s a nice convertible as they wanted something sporty and they can fit the grandkids in. Looks quite nice.

LOL at "small", never mind the nippy! You'll have 3 carseats in the back so the smallest you are looking at is something along the lines of a picasso maybe? We have a Grand Picasso (aka "the van"!) because we literally couldn't fit 3 carseats into the back of a zafira (we asked if you could fit 3 carseats in the back of it, the salesman said yes you can and the look of fear on his face when we said "we'll just try that out" and hoicked the carseats out of our car. We put 2 in and took them straight out as there was no way a third would go in!)

Unless you are going to put one of the dcs in the front, then you can obviously go for a much smaller car.

I've no idea about 3 car seats (unlikely) but for small and nippy, hot hatches are where it's at: Fiesta/Focus ST, Renaultsport Clio or Megane, Polo/Golf GTi, Civic Type R, Mini JCW, Corsa/Astra VXR.

If you want a convertible then you are probably looking at Audi A4 or BMW 3-series to get enough seats. Hatchback convertibles tend to look awful IMO.
