there is a strange quiz on saturday nights (maybe other times too) where you ring in and guess which answers are "on the board"..so what would you find at a wedding eg and it goes on and on and on in a strangely compelling way..and it's sort of hyper like a shopping channel

oh that'll be it that's why it goes on so long because of cause the phone is premium rated, I fall aslep watching and wake up with the tv still oin at 4.00 am

Ah, found it! Well QVC..in fact all shopping channels hold a ghastly fascination.

There is also a quiz channel which is beyond dire. You have to phone in with the answer to a dead simple puzzle, but the answers are NEVER RIGHT! The best of it though are the interminable gaps between phone calls and the presenter just sits there with a rictus grin staring at the camera. Turkish slippers are essential when viewing (ie curly toes!)
