that's it really - what's protecting your PC and is it good?

one of the things we use is called Ad-aware. If you google lavasoft ad-aware you should find it.
Its free to download.
we run it about once a week.
Not a virus check as such, but website explains than I could what it does. Our computer always runs better/quicker afterwards.

There is something called Housecall which DH uses. I dont knbow anything about it though. Again try googling it!

thanks - I've used Ad-aware before - I was thinking more Norton or McAfee stuff like that
