haven't got a pvc one but i got a hippychick organic cotton mattress protector I think from plushpants or kittikins or somewhere like that, can't quite remember which one but I'm sure a search would do it. it's like a really thick sheet - it's not at all plasticy in fact I was really concerned that it wouldn't work because it didn't seem a bit protective or waterproof. It doesn't cover the whole bed, and comes in different sizes, and lies flat under the sheet. You can wash it at a mad hot temperature if necessary. i was really pleased with it - in fact i'd forgotten I even had one since you mentioned it so it definitely doesn't smell or rustle.

in fact if I'd forgotten about it maybe I should be changing her sheets more.... Blush

\link{www.redoute.co.uk\La Redoute} have loads of different types in different styles and sizes. I've just ordered two types (to see what they're like) for my ds new single bed. They were recommended to me by someone else on this forum. Search for "pvc flat mattress protector" within "Interieurs".

I reccomend the white company - £15 for a single one - not cheap but totally fantastic :)
