I am sick of my stupid dyson breaking all the time and am going to replace it

Are these really good? I just want something that will last and not break all the time and pick up dog hair as well as everything else

I had one for years and loved it. In fact, I still have it but only use it for upstairs (less traffic) as it has lost its ooomph. I now have a Sebo for the more heavily used areas. Brilliant. And we have a large, hairy dog, plus 3 cats and various rabbits and guinea pigs allowed to roam the house from time to time - oh and 3 boys and a dh (who are probably the worst culprits re dirt, etc.).

is the sebo better?

Any advice welcomed! Also there seems to be more than one model of the cat and dog which one?

Def. recommend it. Have 2 cats, both black and white which moult terrible so shows up on every colour. Had a panasonic which seemed to leave the fur there, but the miele does a fantastic job, (especially the turbo brush attatchment that comes with it).

well if miele hoovers are anything as good as their washing machines
Get one :)
I'm also contemplating my dysons future with an eye that its not really working anymore... it is 7 yrs old mind you...

Ihave the Sebo C3 Turbo something or other. The Sebo range was originally developed for commercial purposes, including hospitals, etc. They have only relatively recently moved into the domestic market, but their machines are certainly very good and their customer service is excellent.

Yes, I've got a Miele Cat & Dog and it is brilliant. Like Chicagomum we've got 2 black and white cats, so mounds of cat hair all over our carpets until we got the Miele.

My dh has asked if we can buy a second one to hoover up the cats.Wink
