new born baths

hey. my midwife has told me that i cant use any bath products for my 3 weeks old including johnsons. has anyone else used anything on their new borns or just water? x

Just water I think. Although I did used to dip dc3 in the bath with the other 2, which I presume had bubble bath in it.

I am also a MW, of course u can use a squirt of Johnsons in the bath, some people find soaps drying and that is the reason to not use them, i dont think a squirt does any harm IMO

I used it or similar with both mine.

oh thank you. she gets sick alot at the moment so water doesnt seem enough to clean her. i will do that then. thank you :-)
