Dd was given ELC pack of 6 animal jigsaws for 2nd birthday and it is quite the most favourite present ever. She does and redoes them at least 5 times a day. Granny (who loves jigsaws too - the 5000 piece ones...) would love to buy her some more for Xmas. Where can we get them?

Er... ELC?

I think M&S do children's puzzles too actually.

Woolworths and Mothercare have a good selection.

elc have a 3for2 offer on jigsaws but i think it ends today

Orchard Toys are good too.

Any shop that stocks Maisy products is a winner. Someone bought dd a Maisy book with 2 puzzles for her 2nd b'day. They're easy without being TOO peasy and she loves them. The puzzles match pictures from the book.

Toys R Us have some ones aimed at little ones.

We've got some from Elc, some from Woolworths (Chad Valley) and some character ones from Ravensburger (independent toy shops, www.thetoyshop.com, www.mailorderexpress.co.uk). The latest one which dd 27 months has mastered is from M and S - a map of 100 Acre Wood with stand up characters.

Marks and sparks has a lovely lot of jigsaws, especially the pooh bear ones.

dd has a marks and spencer set - nursery rhymes - three rhymes, three jigsaws each - start with two pieces, four pieces and six pieces put the three alongside each other and they tell the nursery rhyme. Very reasonable.

Shall tell my mother - M&S or Woolies are easy for her to get to. Cheers folks.

Friends bought our kids early Christmas presents this weekend - two fabulous 3d jigsaws from M and S. 2 yo has a fairground puzzle with loads of detail - stalls, people, carousel and wheel ride to put in afterwards (carousel and ride both move). 5yo has a map of the world, complete with tropics, Equator and continents marked up - choice of either landmarks or children with national flags to insert afterwards.
