Boys (5-6) shortie pjamas that don't cost the earth and don't have batman all over them?

I need some summer pjamas for my son before we go on holiday and I usually buy this sort of thing from M+S. But in that size, they are either covered in really inappopriate characters or very expensive.

Any idea where I can get some?

I got some really fab ones from Asda, two years ago. They were just plain blue check, my DMum reckoned he looked like a mini film star, a la Clark Gable they were really scrummy.

nutcracker · 04/03/2006 19:33

Ethel Austin. Very Cheap Shop, the quality isn't that bad considering the price - 2 pairs for about £5.

Try Pumpkin Patch. got some very nice "traditional" stule PJs in a shortie style last summer.

Thanks everyone, but unfortunately we don't have any of the shops mentioned here. I am in central london and my nearest shopping is Oxford street. There is a Next, H&M, M+S, Gap, etc. I may have to try those, but was hoping not to spend too much.
