We need to get a fireguard as dd is now getting about so we are starting to protect all avenues..thing is we need a fireguard BUT can we have one that still allows the home to look trendyish...!!! I know things change once babies arrive but surely there must be more choice than the big clumpy metal ones we have seen.

If not we will get one of the above ones but just wonder if anyone has been in the same position and have managed to find somthing that fits in with the modern home style..???

We've got one that is black rather than the brassy colour, but thats as trendy and good looking as you'll get! (if anyone can enlighten me please do!)

Thanks mumatuks..looks like that all the choice we have...I can't believe that they don't have a bigger selection. The amount of nice things you can buy nowadays, it's shocking really!!!

Oh well.......unless anyone can give us light..?

Depends on what you want to spend but \link{http://www.purves.co.uk/?6/ASMbT8PDkAxPJ50LYkI7hDieMyU/XoJWIVZE6d+5lwSPdrm60ZdGjzn8LITJLG43FTgDuyMfgFLaoxMFw1AmGTJYGZfRt8XWDYuCkZEtLkGdnqXDgBSjWorygNxUysOPVbb47/aWX2+FD0IHzkZR80K3OoRQLuDcXIJeiJG293AMbMMHb651BgSSg4Tokdc7Fw/wozI88Z49kj9B2nOQkARKmUe62dFpjf+FAcTdXbDXSViBMLqDtye/6xAB0r\here's} a nice'ish one. they do a nice glass one on that site but then is that any safer for a baby. There's a lot \link{http://www.simplyfires.com/acatalog/Screens.html\here too}. Doesn't seem to be much choice around and they're more spark guards than proper fixed fireguards.
