...had been having a clothing crisis (too old for some shops, not old enough for others).

Got Boden catalogue. Don't like all the stuff but have finally found clothes that suit me. Ordered a lovely green cord jacket....seems expensive for what it is, but I'm keeping the bugger anyway.

What products have you bought on recommendation from Mumsnet?

Me - Tripp Trapp, Clarins eye cream and verbaudet children's clothes

the wrap sling and ring sling are the best purchases i have made. they get used a heck of a lot. more than i used the sling with the other 2.

did buy tripp trapp after being recommended on mn.Really glad I bought it.

Boden, have been buying kids stuff for years ,only occassionaly though as they're a bit pricey for me.Also find they're girls stuff is nicer than the boy's and now my dd is 14 she's too oldSad

For muself,I've bought a few skirts and tops from them and recently bought smart fleece jacket which I'm really pleased with.THing I'm not keen on is everyone knows it's Boden when you buy certain items.

blueteddy · 03/03/2006 22:19

Boden childrens clothes (don't like anything for myself from there), but have only ever bought in the sale!

misdee · 03/03/2006 22:20

i spotted a little girl at kings x station with a boden duffle coat on, one of the stripey ones. Grin dd's lilac and pink ones are a bit more discreet

nailpolish · 03/03/2006 22:23

ive bought the summery shoes from boden

and a 'tea-dress' Grin

ndp told me about ASOS on MN, have been its biggest fan ever since

bubblerock · 03/03/2006 22:29

I get the Boden catalogue but have never bought anything, I don't really like it, but I have boys, some of the girls stuff is pretty. I bought the Johnsons holiday sun lotion because of the thread on here last summer Blush

nailpolish · 03/03/2006 22:30

nailpolish · 03/03/2006 22:32

AntheaTurnerPuff · 03/03/2006 22:34

boden clothes (only just though!)
those slanted trainer cups
figleaves lingerie
the oven cleaner with Charlie Dimmocks face on it
bicarbonate of soda

bubblerock · 03/03/2006 22:49

It was good, there was a massive thread about it - we cleaned all the shops out of it as it was bogof. People had different results, I liked it, used it every other day. You can get a face one too, I'm sure they had some cheap in bodycare/savers as a twin pack.

nailpolish · 03/03/2006 22:51

thanks BR

bubblerock · 03/03/2006 22:55

A beautiful pink winter coat (in the sale) Grin

SleepyJess · 04/03/2006 17:03

Er.. oh yes.. Tripp Trap seat.. we have one! Blush Grin But not due to MN. It's for DS age 5 to use at the dinner table because he has cp. Are the non SN ones the same?

tortoiseshell · 04/03/2006 17:05

Only bought things for the kids - have bought very indiscreet stripey duffle coat for dd which I adore, some hooded dresses, tartan baggies for dd and ds, a couple of tops for dd, a couple of t-shirt dresses for dd. But this is over a couple of years, so not so bad, and always in the sale!!!!

BadHair · 04/03/2006 17:06

I'd never heard of Boden until I came here. Do like their stuff but it's ridiculously overpriced for what it is. Have bought two hotchpotch tops in the past, in sales, but found that they both shrank after one wash. Were slightly too short anyway - they seem to be made for midgets.
