how to shower my baby safely ?

We only have a shower at home,no bath. My dd is 8 months old. Previously she has been bathed in the baby bath but is now too big for it plus keeps splashing water all over. I need to start washing her in the shower, I have done before but this was when she was much younger and only when someone there to help me. I had to get in shower with her and then pass her over to other person. No longer possible with squirmy 8 month old

Does anyone else have this issue, how do you shower your baby ? i wondered about getting some sort of seat for her although all ones have seen seem to be for younger babies.

I used to sit mine at my feet?

Can you put the baby bath in the shower tray so that splashes are contained? We have done this in a holiday place we stay at, even with DC's up to 5 yo!

We've taken DS in with us fairly regularly since he could sit unaided. Sit her at your feet with some toys while you wash, then wash her. DS loves it!

DS sits in the shower tray and plays with the bottles while I wash myself, then I sit down and wash him. I make sure the spray isn't directly on him, but ricocheting off the cubicle for a fine mist. He loves his showers.

I shower DD in her own, on an in inflatable mat in the base. She loves the shower and is happy to have water and spray on her face and doesn't bother about it in her eyes. We have a very small cubicle and going to be getting a bigger one installed soon, so now she is nearly sitting unaided she will just come in with us and sit at our feet.
