zippitippitoes · 28/02/2006 11:53

bundle · 28/02/2006 11:54

argos v good, you can get kettle/toaster combos cheap sometimes too

nutcracker · 28/02/2006 11:55

I've had kitchen electricals from both places and they have served me well - £5 iron lasted well over a year, £7 kettle still going, bought at least 2yrs ago. I prefer tesco for oven tins / trays. I'd just go to whichever one is the biggest so that you've got more choice.

Thirtysix · 28/02/2006 12:03

I found Tesco great-better range than Asda-especially if you go to an "Extra"

Squarer · 28/02/2006 12:06

Tesco - I got a stainless steel toaster for £9.97. I'd just been looking at a suspiciously similar Morphy Richards one for £24.99

nutcracker · 28/02/2006 12:06

Ok thanks, will see which one we end up nearest i think.

I only can hope and pray that it was his mopny and not yours, he doesn't need a kettle he can boil water in a pan, toaster - no if he has a grill.

Nutty GET A GRIP, AND STOP HELPING HIM OUT, GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE Sad

nutcracker · 02/03/2006 18:50

Yes it was his money, i am not stupid and don't need to get a grip thanks very much.

Just because we are splitting up doesn't mean I have to be awful or nasty to him and tbh it is peeing me off that this seems to be the attitude on here.

If i want to help him get sorted out that is up to me.
