Safety gates

Any recommendations? I've looked under reviews but not convinced all comments relate to the exact same model.

There are simply baby gates that you can open with one hand and there are very very complicated baby gates that require an engineering degree to open them.

Now I didnt have a particularly inquisitive toddler so the fact that there was a gate there meant he didnt attempt to go near it. However I had friends who's children would often have a go at opening them.

For me the simple mechanism that means you have to both squeeze the handle hard and lift the gate at the same time is more than enough security as the child is neither tall or strong enough to do both of these action. Ones that require flaps, buttons, etc. Way too much hassle when you probably have a baby in your other arm.
