Where can I find gloves (not mittens) for 2 yr old?

DS, 2, has worked himself into a state of hysteria following a cold-hands incident out with DP. He is adamant he will not wear mittens" I can't see my fingers!", and all the gloves are far to big, the Adams / Mothercare one-size ones etc. Anyone seen tiny gloves? (oh to be able to knit...)

Bhs had some - they're a little big for our 21mo, but are ok

Tesco Cherokee range has a lovely hat and gloves set which fit ds (2.5yrs). Nice and soft and fleecy.

The problem with gloves IME is that it is almost impossible to get little ones to put their fingers in the right holes. I bought a lovely pair of tinkerbell gloves for my DD when she was 3 but it took so long to get them on I finally gave up and went back to mittens!

John Lewis - I know because I was after mittens and all they had were gloves!!

H&M do a nice glove-mitten combination, where the thumb is completely covered and the fingers are in fingerless glove type gloves (IYSWIM!) and there's a pouchy bit which folds over the fingers so that it looks like a mitten. I don't know how small they go, though.

I use those magic gloves (adult ones but not stretched! They seem to work and they are v cheap!!

Primark - two pairs for £1. Get there quick, I hav bought lots as presents! They are soft, very stretchy and Ds loves them!
