...ahem well bought it for myself really. LOL!
It's the first BOP-IT. I know there have been many versions since. I always wanted one of these. Saw one sat lonely on the shelf in Asda and just had to buy it.
Bop it, Twist It, Pull it, Pass it.
Well it will keep me off Mumsnet for a while anyway.

OMG it's terribly addictive isn't it?
DDs keep asking me to have a go and I keep telling them to be quiet and they can have a go in a minute. They've been waiting for two hours.

I played with ours (Bop-it Extreme) for ages and ages and was house champion! Then dh suddenly worked out how to do it, and wiped the floor with me: I haven't picked it up since! ROFL

Hmmm..around 6ish+ I'd say. Can't remember what age the packaging suggested.

zippitippitoes · 24/02/2006 11:02

what is it|?

TinyGang · 24/02/2006 11:02

X posted there! Dd is 7 but I think would've played ok with it at 6.

QE2 · 24/02/2006 11:02

SPARKLER1 · 24/02/2006 11:06

wish not which.

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 24/02/2006 11:06

??still as clear as mud is it a dance machine or a game?

SPARKLER1 · 24/02/2006 11:08

It's a hand held electronic game. You have to follow the instructions that the voice tells you.

OP posts:
SPARKLER1 · 24/02/2006 11:10

There is a handle that twists, and handle that you pull and a button that you press which is the Bop It button. The voice tells you to Twist it, Pull It or Bop It and you have to follow it's instr8uctions. You have to do it really quickly, and it gets faster.

TinyGang · 24/02/2006 11:11

It's a game but I guess you could dance along with it. You hold it and you have to follow what it tells you to do. There are bits on it you twist and hit and it's all done in time to this beat noise it makes. It gets faster and eventually you go wrong. You get a score for how long you've lasted.

RTKangaMummy · 24/02/2006 21:49

here coddy you can play it here

Flibbertygibbet · 24/02/2006 22:09

My youngest can manage it Cod - he's 6 and not very sport/co-ordinated. So I would have thought fine for most 6 yos.

So what's your high-score on Bop-It Extreme everybody? Mine's 182
