indelible fingerprints on my car

How do I get them off? It looks like my kids have been smeared in grease and let loos on the car. The more I wash it the more noticable they are!

I'd love to know too. I think suncream might be to blame (from last year obviously)

You can't get them off, by definition.

Where on the car are they? Paintwork, glass, plastic, leather, fabric, alcantara?

On the paintwork - they just look like greasy fingermarks but I can't shift them!

Some sort of degreaser, bug & tar remover, or even a bit of petrol should do the trick.

Ah, petrol! Hadn't thought of that! DH has got some kind of clay thing to try this weekend so if that fails then petrol it is.
