I am so so so so excited about my Kindle :o

What kind of case do you have? I am thinking a 'book type one like this - or do they get annoying? Or would a pop-out /sock case thing be fine?

I have a Tesco Finest one. Cost £10-15. It's great. I didn't really want one - DH persuaded me (actually he just bought me one) and I'm so pleased I have got it. It gives the Kindle a bit of something to hold on to in bed when you're reading.

I just have a Neoprene sleeve by Built NY, to this one which protects it for travelling but doesn't add to the bulk when you are holding it to read.

I got the Amazon official one for my Kindle (keyboard), but I'm sure I didn't pay £30 for it! ...or perhaps I was a bit better off back then.

What I like about it is I can double-back the cover when reading, and the elastic strap can hold it in place so you can still read one-handed

I have a book-type one, which I love as you can prop it up in bed, even when you're lying on your side. It also has a light, which is brill - or was till I found out the cost of replacement batteries Shock. The Amazon one is really expensive but might have been cheaper in the long run as the light runs off the kindle.

I have this one

I really like it - beautifully made. I didn't want a fitted case as I didn't want to add any weight to the kindle. Someone on here pointed me towards Folksy.

ImpatientOne · 11/06/2012 13:39

I have a Built NY one like exexpat in a black and white design. Someone gave it to me although I had already bought a book style one. I prefer holding the Kindle with no case so it suits me better than the other one.

Glittertwins · 11/06/2012 13:40

I have a tasteful hot pink cover that opens like a book, about £15 from Tesco. I would lose a sleeve as there's nowhere to put it when reading. I also got a "kandle" clip on led light from amazon, miles cheaper and smaller than the official kindle one. I just bought the entire Rebus collection of 18 books so DH will be thinking I'm MIA soon!

This one www.amazon.co.uk/AMAZON-KINDLE-BLACK-NEOPRENE-CELLAPOD/dp/B003Y79OV2/ref=tag_stp_s2_edpp_url

It's very cheap and has done the trick for me for over a year now.

I have a tesco finest pink leather cover. I love it :o

I have this one: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005SCRQPC/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 which I love. I think I saw the recommendation on here. I also have a clip on light which cost me around £2 in Tesco.

SoupDragon · 12/06/2012 10:44

This is the one I have. I like it as you can hold it like a book and I've also used the elastic strap to make it more secure when reading one handed.

DarrowbyEightFive · 12/06/2012 11:11

I have this one, in red leather, bought via the German Amazon site. When I bought it it was 10 euros and that included a plug converter for loading from a socket, but now the price has gone up to 12 euros with no socket. Ah well. Bizarrely, when you try to buy it from the English site it's 30 quid (three times the price). But the leather is just gorgeous, and I much prefer a book-style cover that opens up to a mobile-phone type sleeve.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 13/06/2012 22:03

've got the amazon book style one with built in light and I would say that it has been a complete waste of money, I've only used the light about twice in 15 months and I don't like holding the Kindle with the cover on, it makes it heavy so I nearly always take it out to use it. Offers good protection and looks lovely though (apple green). I have also got a neoprene Ipad case from Poundland which it fits inside very nicely, you just wrap it right round and tuck it in, and it cost about £39 less.

Springforward · 13/06/2012 22:04

I have a book-type one from Amazon, and I like it because it makes the Kindle easier to hold somehow - more like a book, IYSWIM.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 17/06/2012 14:17

Was given a pouch type one from Folksy for Christmas and I must say that I love it Smile.

Bunbaker · 17/06/2012 14:23

I have this one. I paid around £10 for it as it was on offer. All I wanted one for was to protect my Kindle in transit. I have no need for a fancy case with a light on it.
