Hi,
Im feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the choice of cots -
can anyone recommend one that's cheap but good, ie has all the requisite requirements, reliable seller etc, suitable for a long baby (3 months but growing fast)? We are on a budget, so under £150 would be ideal. I know mumsnet is currently compiling their own list of recommended cots but alas too late for us I fear!
thanks,
P xx

Must admit, always used second hand ones from others, with a new mattress. As we speak, dd2 is asleep in the same cot I slept in as a child, with iron springs and all.....seems to do the job just fine.......

we had this one

lille beech bedside cot

Its a lovely cot and I loved the fact I could have her next to me at night for a while but did not have to worry about rolling on top of her.
They seem to be out of stock at the moment so might be worth asking when they will get stock if you are interested.
I too had a long baby, she was well above the 90th line and still is.

We have an ikea one, think it cost about £50 and its now about to embark on it's second child! no probs with it, does the job nicely!

thanks for all those suggestions. seems to be the case that the cheaper ones do the job fine, i wonder what the advantage(s) are to getting a more expensive one? do you get what you pay for, or is a cot and cot no matter what. (hey that rhymes!)
