Any Z3 owners out there?

Am looking at getting a (very cheap/old/high milage!) Z3. I do have DCs, but we also have a 7 seater so reckon a sporty little runaround would be good. Just waondered if any of you own/have owned one, and what you thought of it?

I haven't owned a Z3 but I did have other convertible BMWs and other makes before DD.

The things I would be wary of (given age etc) would be leaky roofs (soft top convertibles are notorious for this, have you got a garage to keep it in?) and the cost of repairs as and when things go wrong.

But on the whole, I think it is a nice idea, I would love to have a sporty little run around again, I just don't think I would ever use it.
