yup - currys have a service called partmaster - ring up your nearest currys and ask for the number ...you tell them themake and model etc and they send you it!
oh you need to send money first

dsw · 04/12/2003 15:34

Yes you can - contact the manufacturer and they should be able to tell you who to contact.

Get a take Away - It's nearly the weekend.

You could just put an ordinary plate in for now. I do this if the MW one needs washing up.

ThomCat · 04/12/2003 15:41

I saw your housework thread and knew it would all end in tears! You were trying to do too much weren't you so you could show off. You'd normally have been having a large hot chocolate with marshmallows on top around the time you were cleaning the microwave wouldn't you Now look what you've done. Lesson learnt from this - don't do housework when you should be drinking hot chocolate!!!!

This happened to me once, my brother broke it when he helped me move house. We got another one - I think it cost about £20 though - several years ago. So you might have to pay an arm and a leg for it.

You don't need a plate, some microwaves don't have them. Just put the bowl in the machine and turn every couple of mins by hand (may need to use small bowl to avoid wiggly thing in middle)c

Try Spares2go . You only get charged once your part is dispatched. Had to use this recently as someone threw out the breadmaker paddle...

My parents broke the plate in their microwave and they just use a normal dinner plate (obviously one that is microwave safe!) Save yourself the money and spend it on chocolates
