Are these worth the money?

I had a go on one in John Lewis the other day and was really impressed.

Can get the non reclining ones with foot stool on the net for ~ £99 and the reclining ones for ~ £150. They seem to had a pretty good resale value too (been keeping my eye on ebay).

I really fancy one but it seems a lot of money...

My mum got me one when Dd was born and it's been great. There used to be fights for it when we had it in the living room. Now it's in her room and great for bedtime stories.
It's also nice to have somewhere you know is comfortable for feeding.

I got one when DD was born - It was great when she wasn't sleeping for the first few months as was used to rock her to sleep or just soothe her with it. Now she can sometimes be put to sleep when she is over tired and DP uses it every day to cuddle her after a bath which she loves. We got the ones off ebay and they are fab, really comfy.

I used a normal rocking chair that I bought in an auction for £1.50 and had it recovered.

It is old fashioned style, high back, wings and arm rests, but was perfect for comfy feeding and dozing...

thanks - you've convinced me!!

Is the recline function useful or should I just get a standard non reclining model?

I have the reclining one - but haven't used this yet and we've had it about 5 months so I would probably just get the non reclining one.

I quite like the reclining function, didn't use it a lot but was handy when you were tired and feeding
